UCAT ANZ

The University Clinical Aptitude Test is used in the selection process by the UCAT ANZ Consortium of universities in Australia and New Zealand

UCAT ANZ Results

After you have completed your test you will receive an email from Pearson VUE with instructions to access your UCAT ANZ Score Report.

Validity of Results

UCAT ANZ 2019 results are valid for the 2019 university admissions cycle ONLY (for entry to university in 2020).

Candidates are NOT able to apply to Australian/ New Zealand consortium universities with UCAT UK results.

Delivering UCAT ANZ Results to Universities

We will communicate all test results to our UCAT ANZ Consortium universities in early September. You do not need to pass your test result to your universities yourself.

For clarity, we do not and cannot pass your mark onto any universities outside the UCAT ANZ Consortium.

You will have your test result before the majority of university application deadlines so please ensure you use this to help inform your university choices, otherwise you might be wasting an application.  Please check the university websites carefully to determine application deadlines.

Further information on how our consortium universities use the UCAT ANZ score within their admissions process will be published on their websites later in 2019.

Candidates applying to both Australian/ New Zealand and UK universities
If you are applying to both Australian/ New Zealand and UK universities you need to sit the UCAT ANZ during July 2019.

You then need to email the UCAT UK Office (ucat@nottingham.ac.uk) by 15th October 2019 (the UCAS application deadline in the UK) to confirm the following information:

  • Your name

  • Your UCAT ANZ ID number in the format ANZ12345678 (which you receive when you register an account for the UCAT ANZ)

  • The UK universities to which you have applied.

The UCAT UK Office will then verify your UCAT ANZ score with the UCAT ANZ Office and communicate this to your chosen UK universities. Note that candidates are not permitted to sit both the UCAT ANZ and UCAT UK test in the same year.

Candidates are not able to apply to Australian / New Zealand Consortium universities with UCAT UK results.
