UCAT ANZ Concession Scheme

Candidates who are named on a current Health Care Card (HCC) or Pensioner Concession Card (PCC), issued by Centrelink, are eligible for a reduced test fee. The concession fee is not available to candidates sitting the test outside Australia.

Concession Application deadline: 10 May 2021

Concession applications will not be accepted after the concession application deadline under any circumstances.

Concessions are available to candidates who meet one of the following criteria:

We DO NOT accept this as evidence: Medicare Cards, New Zealand Community Services Cards, Transport concession cards, private health insurance membership cards.

Application Process

The steps in the concession application process are provided below.

  • Register your Pearson VUE account

  • Complete the online Concession application form below by the application deadline. 
    You must upload a copy of your current Health Care Card / Pensioner Concession Card and provide your UCAT ANZ ID number given in the top left corner of your Pearson VUE account.

  • Receive your concession voucher code within approximately 3 business days by email. 
    If you have not received an email from our office within this time please email the UCAT ANZ Office and we will check on progress. Before contacting us please check that an email has not been sent to your junk or spam folder. Please do not upload multiple applications.

  • After bookings have opened on 1 March 2021, login to your Pearson VUE account to book your test by the booking deadline of 11:59pm AEST on 17 May 2021.
    Enter your concession voucher code at the payment page when booking your test. Select the     option to 'Add a voucher or promo code', enter the concession voucher code and click apply.

  • If you miss the booking deadline you can book your test until the late booking deadline of 31 May 2021 at 11:59pm AEST. Bookings made during this period pay the additional late fee ($85). No further bookings are accepted after the late booking deadline under any circumstances.

Important information

If you have already paid the full test fee you can still submit your concession application. When your concession has been approved you will need to call Pearson VUE Customer Services for assistance to apply your concession voucher code. If you cancel and refund your full fee test yourself through your Pearson VUE account you will incur the refund fee (15% of the total test fees paid).

Concession applications are rejected if the concession card has expired, the candidate is not named on the card, or the application has been submitted after the concession application deadline. If you have queries about why your application has been rejected please email the UCAT ANZ Office. Do not submit another application.
