UCAT ANZ Rescheduling and Cancelling
Cancelling a Test for a Refund
Tests can be cancelled for a refund by the cancellation deadline (11:59pm AEST on 7 June 2021).
A refund fee of 15% of the total test fees paid will be deducted. This includes the late fee, if applicable. Login to your Pearson VUE account by the cancellation deadline to cancel and refund your test.
If you miss the cancellation deadline, your test fee will not be refunded.
Rescheduling a Test
Rescheduling before the late booking deadline (11:59pm AEST on 31 May 2021)
You may reschedule your test through your Pearson VUE account until the late booking deadline.
Rescheduling after late bookings have closed (11:59pm AEST on 31 May 2021)
After late bookings have closed, you need to phone Pearson VUE Customer Services to reschedule your test. You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment time.* If you miss the deadline for rescheduling, you will need to pay a further fee to re-book your test.
*When rescheduling your test, you still need to give the appropriate amount of notice even though the Pearson VUE Customer Services helpline is only available Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm (local time). For example, if your appointment is on a Monday, in order to reschedule you will need to call Pearson VUE Customer Services before 6pm (local time) on the preceding Friday.
Rescheduling is subject to the availability of appointments. In some circumstances you may need to travel to another location if there are no available appointments at your preferred test location.
You cannot cancel or reschedule an appointment by email.
If you miss the deadline to reschedule your test, you will be charged the test fee to re-book your test. Candidates who paid the concession fee for their original appointment will be charged the concession fee to re-book. The overseas test fee will be charged to re-book at an overseas test centre.
Rescheduling to another country
If you need to reschedule to a test centre in another country, please email the UCAT ANZ Office for assistance. Requests should be made with as much advance notice as possible and rescheduling is subject to the availability of appointments.
Illness or personal circumstances
If you are not fit to take your test due to illness or other personal circumstances that you consider may affect your performance you should reschedule your test to a later date, even if this means losing the test fee. This includes candidates who fall ill or experience issues on the day of their test. Refer to Rescheduling information above.
Candidates who present themselves for their test are declaring themselves fit to sit the test.
Missed tests (No-shows)
If you miss your test for any reason, the appointment will be recorded as a 'no-show' and you will not be eligible for a refund.
The standard test fee will be charged to re-book your test. Candidates who paid the concession fee for their original appointment will be charged the concession fee to re-book. The overseas test fee applies to re-book at an overseas test centre. You will need to call Pearson VUE Customer Services to re-book your test.
This applies in cases of:
- Illness, family emergency, accident, arrest, transport problems and security alert as well as forgetfulness and lateness.
- Presenting inadequate or invalid identification.
