Extended Tests
The UCAT ANZ 2024 test cycle is complete.
Information about UCAT ANZ 2025 will be published by December 2024.
Candidates can apply for the following extended versions of the UCAT ANZ test. Your access arrangements application must be approved by the UCAT ANZ Office before booking a test. Please refer to the information on Access Arrangements.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL TEST VERSIONS
All sections of the test count down automatically and cannot be paused. Once the time in any section has expired you must click the onscreen notification to move on when instructed, otherwise you will lose time from the next section. If you do not need to use the full amount of time in the instruction section you can end it early and move on to the subtest.
UCATANZ SA (140 minutes) standard test time with 5 minute rest breaks before sections
The UCATANZ SA has the standard UCAT ANZ subtest timings with 5 minute, timed instruction sections before each subtest.
- The 5 minute timed instruction sections before each subtest are your rest breaks, which count down automatically. When the rest break time expires the next subtest will begin automatically.
- It is not possible to take additional rest breaks and the test cannot be paused.
- If you do not need to use the full amount of rest break time, you can end the instruction section and move on to the next subtest.

- The 5 minute rest breaks are taken during the timed instruction sections before each subtest, which count down automatically. When the instruction section time expires the next subtest will begin automatically.
- It is not possible to take additional rest breaks and the test cannot be paused.
- If you do not need to use the full amount of rest break time, you can end the instruction section and move on to the next subtest.
